Pejuta Wakan aka "JUT"
In the Sioux language Pejuta Wakan means "Sacred Medicine".  Jut, as we call her, is a Medicine Hat filly.

The Medicine Hat's history traces back to many American Indian tribes and were the most valued and respected of all their horses for their intelligence and rare markings.  The Medicine Hat was considered sacred medicine and were mainly ridden in battles or on hunting trips.  An Indian believes they are invincible when riding a Medicine Hat.

Legend has it that when a Medicine Hat dies, its spirit returns to Earth to help guide a newborn Medicine Hat.
